I need more tissues please.
It’s been a nice warm for our 3 day weekend. Did we get out and enjoy it? Nope, not since Friday afternoon when the first drip made it’s grand appearance in this house. I am not talking about an old loser friend or weird Uncle here.
The Queen of the house, maker of all meals, housemaid, referee, sex goddess (okay I lied about that part), is sick.
I went from being perfectly fine when I picked the kids up from school to downright yucky by the time we got back to the house. 10 minutes folks!! Either the Man of mine bought home some germ from work or some sick kid walking out of the school dropped a few fast acting germs on me.
The kids were on their on that night, which means if they could reach it, they ate it. Sat. I attempted to get out of my chair and go to the grocery. Notice the word attempted. The Man took the list and dropped the girl off at a friend’s and the Boy stayed with me showing signs of getting sick too. (but that didn’t slow him down) By nightfall we both were coughing, sneezing, and dripping only exception is that while I was dying he was up and running. I don’t get it!
Sun morn I felt well enough to make breakfast, start making chili for dinner and clean the counters. As we watched football I went downhill. The Boy’s cough got worse and he finally puked just as I was going to bed. He and I cuddled together until he fell asleep. The dear Cat cuddled with me while the Man was suppose to be studying. I heard the TV so I know he didn’t.
Tomorrow I start my classes and I am looking forward to it. Ask me again when I am jump in the middle of the night working on homework. LOL!!
It is Girl Scout cookies time and so far we have sold 60 boxes. Our troop is not too forceful on getting out there and selling. We do well for only 10 girls. I am teaching the sewing project next Monday. Over a couple meetings we will make totes and include bathroom items (toothbrush and paste, soap, comb and brush) to get to the shelter for some kids.
The Boy is student of the week starting tomorrow so we worked on his poster Friday and it gave me a chance to look at his baby pictures. I just can’t believe how much he has grown. In just a few weeks he will be 6.
I am on day 32 of no AF. I wonder if all the hot flashes I had was a major sign that just maybe she is gone. I know my luck and I know she is just messing with me and will probably show up and stay for a couple weeks just to piss me off. All because I was finally able to use something that has calm the flashes down. What a witch!
I saw a commercial for a show about teens thinking they can handle taking care of a baby. I can’t wait to see it and hope that other families have their teens watch so they can see it is not easy.
I have a secret. I’ve been watching that show ‘Miss America reality’ and the other one called Crowned. With the writers on strike I have to watch something. LOL!! I think this year’s pageant show is going to be modern and a little more interesting. They are trying to draw an audience back like the old days. We saw ‘Bucketlist’ and it is a very good movie. I’ve always loved Morgan Free man in his movies. The Great De baters is also a good movie. I’ve never heard of this history.
Well, it is time to try and get some food into the Boy and myself while the other two gobble up all they want.

I hope you are sitting down, it's gonna be long.
Pull up a chair, grab a beer, glass of wine, or water, it is going to be a long one.
Here we are in the new year and I am already behind in this thing.
We had a wonderful Christmas. Christmas eve after the kids opened their gift of PJs and toothbrushes, got their baths we did the annual drive around and see the lights tour. Put Santa's cookie and milk out on the counter and threaten the kids to get their butts in bed. At the squadron adult party I won a 8gig Zune. It is so cool and I hope to figure out how to use it by summer. LOL!!

Hubby and I settled down to start our annual watching of "A Christmas Sto ry"24 hours. I swear, everytime we watch it we find or hear something new. Earlier that day I did watch "It's a Wonderful L ife" and we can't forget "Christmas Vac ation".
The Boy finally went to sleep at 11pm and we ummm… I mean Santa went into action and the tree looked like a package store threw up under it. A glass of wine and beer later the adults took their butts to bed.
430am The Girl came in and yelled that Santa came! After I peeled myself off the ceiling, I sent her back to her bed and said we are not allowed to open presents til 7am. Hmm funny the lump next to me never moved.
At 7am, after the Girl woked up the Boy they threw the cat into our room to wake us up this time. It seem the cat had already opened her present and was high as a kite. We got up and gulped down some mouthwash and headed into the living room and proceed to let the paper fly. 7hrs later (just kidding) gifts opened, paper put into the recycle bag, toys finally separated from the packaging with blow torches and hacksaws, I went to do my kitchen duties. Breakfast was fixed and eaten, then dinner was prepared, phone calls made, clothes somewhat put on, dinner eaten, favorite toys taken to rooms and the last movie was watched and that was the end of Christmas.
The next day I heard "I'm bored"! I couldn't believe my ears, oh wait, yes I could. The kids had 16 days off from school and the weather was not nice (for us anyway) until after they both got the sniffles and Hubby got what seem like the flu. I survived, oh I mean they survived.
School started this past Monday and the Girl tried to pull the stomach ache trick. The Boy was happy to go because he remembered that he was class counter for the day. He had a loose tooth that we thought would come out for Christmas, it wasn't until Monday night when he finally pulled it out himself. It was worth $2 but it almost was worth $20 since the tooth fairy almost forgot until her husband woke her up when he came home from work. So in the dark the tooth fairy tried to get money from her Hubby's wallet but thought better of it and turned on a light.
I got the go ahead from my V A rep to sign up for my classes. So I did it people, 4 classes starting 22 Jan. OMG! I lost my mind. Anyway, I got a taste of what I am going to be paying for the kids' college. Why in the world do people need to pay $108 for a paperback book? And since the book had been [paid for once and returned for a stupid small amount, why does the next person have to pay $81? What a rip off.
On to other things, like a friend named Jessica, I too received a free sample a couple days after she blogged about it. The 2 bandaids they call a liner, the pad that would last 5 mins and the other pad with its own mini washcloth that would last 8 mins. Oh lets not forget to mention the 6 stickers and notepad that have on it "Have a happy________.
Tell me "Always", why would a woman that is going through pre-menopause, with periods that come whenever they feel like it and throw on top of that mega hot-flashes, have a F***ing happy period? Try telling that to my Hubby and see what you get.
Sat night, I was having flashes so bad that I was getting dizzy. I read up on it and learned that you get a lot of other problems when you get hot flashes. What happens is that your temp can drop 3 degrees during the flash and then you get the chills right afterwards while your body tries to warm back up. Thus, the dizziness, anxiety, sleeplessness, weakness, and heart palpations. The following has become my friends especially the New Phase, it has worked wonders.
To close here is a pic of life of a cat and two lizards. You can see the lizard on the back wall of aqaurium.

Let's bring you up to date since mid Oct.
The great Halloween night of 2007 went off without a hitch. The Girl was an Angel and the Boy went as Superman for the second year in the row. It was his choice and who was I to talk him out of it since the outfit was bought 2 sizes big last year for that reason. LOL!! Hubby had to work, so we trick or treat for one and half hour and then came home to give out the candy including the yucky ones that was in the kid's bags. (just kidding....no I'm not) LOL!! It still amazes me how people take babies out, like they are going to eat candy. Give me a break.
Next was the additions to our family.
After I waited for this thing, um Stripes to die from all the live food that Dh keeps feeding it, being stared at by the cat and the constant tapping on the habitat by the kids, it finally curled up and died one night after surviving for 2 weeks.
Yippee, um, I mean, awwwww!
Well now we had a ton of crickets, so DH said lets go to Petco!! Introducing 'Dash' the green anole. He lasted a whole 4 days!! DH (notice a pattern) decided that he needed some UVB rays and put the poor lizard out on the fence yesterday. I did warn him, but he is always right. (sigh) A couple hours later after DH goes to nap before work I go out there and there we have a fried lizard. So I won't have crying kids, I told them to jump in the car and we are going to get a friend for 'Dash'.
I have the sales guys put 2 lizards in the box while I distracted them. We get home and the kids goes to play and I get rid of 'Dash 1' and try to put the new 'Dash 2' and 'Flash' into the habitat. One goes in fine and the other jumps out and disappears. Crap!! I search my back porch for 20 mins, nothing. Tell the kids that the ne friend escaped and they don't care. sigh
1 hour later I am on my way out the door to go play 'Bunco' and at the last minute decide to give my hair a quick brush. When I am done I happen to notice this green thing on my shoulder, Yes, it is the escaped lizard just sitting there staring at me. People is was in my hair for over an hour and almost went to Bunco with me!! I would've never be invited back if I had a lizard jump on the table as I was rolling the dice. LOL!!
Mid Nov. we packed up the Man and sent him hunting for food (deer)in Illinois. After all the money that was spent for the trip, he was told that he better bring something back even if he has to hit it with a car. It didn't happen, but he did bring back presents. He stayed for 11 days which means he wasn't here for Thanksgiving. I didn't plan to make a big dinner for the kids and I but in the end when I saw the good deal on the turkeys I had to get one. So via webcam and phone we shared Thanksgiving with Hubby and his family.
The kids enjoyed the turkey a lot. The Boy devoured his turkey leg like a Renaissance King. LOL!! The Girl just kept raving about how good the whole meal was. Wow, I felt like the greatest cook in the world. LOL!! After dinner we took a walk around the neighborhood, returned home when the boy had a meltdown in someone's yard because I would not let him ride his scooter in their rocks. sigh. Later that night, Hubby calls and gives me the lowdown on his cousin-in-law. She always has put herself above the rest of the family, so I guess this is expected of her. Aunty has a gum ball machine on her coffee table and I guess cousin-in-law kept bitching about it because she does not allow her daughters to have gum. When it gets put up high, but according to Hubby not soon enough, because while we were on webcam one of the girls came in the room and asked for a napkin to spit the gum out into. She whispered that she would get in trouble and culd he not say anything. LOL Of course, Hubby is on the child's side and don't rat her out.
Later, he and his male cousin was sitting in the garage talking about when they hung out together inthe 'old days' and my Hubby says 'remember when we use to go to titties bars?'. Cousin's wife heard and had a fit. She said that this family is so backwoods and have no sense at all and more that hubby didn't tell me. Now this woman has known this family since she was in junior high. She has been around them for over 10 years before they got married and knows that they are fun drinkers and nutty. It is not like how I was introduced to them out of the blue after I was married into the family with a child. So I don't know what her problem is. It is not like she comes from a very well to do family with high ettiqiute. That ended the family get together. I guess you can't have a holiday without some kind of drama.
Hubby came home on Black Friday night, so I didn't get to go out shopping but that is fine with me. Aunty requested the kid's list and within 2 hrs she had over half the stuff on the list bought. She even came back and took Hubby out with her a second time and he bought some stuff. The town she lived in did not have the crowds so she didn't have to get up at 3am, she got up at 730am and on the road at 830a. I am so going to open an account and just save money so that next year we are going up for Thanksgiving and I'll mail the stuff back. Plus I hope to get to see some friends while up there. LOL
Saturday, Hubby stubbed his toe on the train set box that was placed behind the couch out of the pathway to the hall but he somehow hits. The thing turned blue and purple and we just knew it was broken. He just decided to sit in his chair and ice it and complain.
Sunday he is in the garage working on the car and comes in with blood dripping. He somehow sliced a finger. Sigh!! I finally said just sit down and watch football and don't touch anything. I just know that spouse abuse services will be knocking on the door to arrest me when he returns to work. LOL!!
THe kids got their progress reports and are doing really well!!
Oh, poor Hubby got a very nice welcome home event from his wonderful, darling son. On Monday Dad took the son with him to the grocery store for bandaids that didn't have some kind of character on it. In the aisle is Hubby, the Boy and an old lady. The Boy out of the blue turns to the lady and says "Help, I'm being held against my will." The lady looked at the Man and back at the Boy and The stunned Man pulled out his wallet and showed her the Lost child ID card I insist that he carry and showed her that this Boy did belong to him. They get home and the Boy is crying and runs into his room and The Man tells me what happens. I tried not to laugh because this is what my world is like most the time with the Boy. I told him it was from the cartoon SpongeBob he lets him watch. LOL!! Let's just say that it has not been on in the house for quite awhile now.
One thing I have learned is that I go through way less food, laundry, toilet paper and sleep sounder when the Man is gone. I miss him to death but when the clothes all seem to make in into the laundry basket and the toilet seat is down in the middle of the night, it makes it a little hard to welcome him back. LOL!!!
The house is decorated inside and out. I was a nice wife and let him buy blue and orange bulbs since he is a big Bears fan and he is the envy of some men. LOL!!
Our neighbors gave us their old refrigerator before they moved out and it is so nice to hvae in the garage. They thinkthe man they sold it to is just going to flip it or rent it. Now today the old lady on the other side of us has a For Rent sign in front. Crap!!!! I hope these people are choosey about who they rent to.
The Man squadron had the kid's Christman party on Sat. Nothing like seeing santa come in on a helicopter. It was fun for the kids. The Adut Christmas party is on the 15th at one of the casinos. I am only going because of the good prizes we could win.
Well that is it for now. I was going to post about watching the Am azing Race but I am like 2 weeks behind. Good thing is that it looks like this is not the last season because they are advertising for the next season. WooHoo!!

Tap tap!! Wow this thing is still here. LOL!!
I guess since I was tagged by Mrs Jessica, again I will start with that.
You have to come up with seven “facts” about self and post these rules:
1) Link to the person that tagged you, and post the rules on your blog. 2) Share 7 facts about yourself. 3) Tag 7 random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs. 4) Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog. 5) Then I have to tag 7 innocent bloggers.
http://stevenbrycesmom.blogspot.com/
1. My second toe sits on top of the big toe. That is how I really identified my babies before we left the hospital. LOL!! It is a family thing on my side.
2. I hide my favorite snacks from the kids and hubby.
3. I hate trying to come up with stuff for these things.
4. I have been wearing extensions for 20 yrs.
5. I like winter time because I can go quite a few days without shaving anything.
6. I hate cooking, period. I know how, I just hate doing it.
7. I talk with my hands 85% of the time.
I can’t think of any others that I can tag right now.

I am finally posting something and of course, it's because I was tagged by Jessica. LOL!!
Seven Things about me!
1. I am so tired of my hubby getting obssessed on something and then in the end I am the one left with it. i.e. our new lizards. I have put up with it for years by acting excited about the new idea but secretly inside I am talking to myself hating it.
2. I too have the special underwear that I only wear when crazy Aunt Flo arrives.
3. I can't smell a lot of odors. Ever since I developed allergies in my 20's I gradually have lost my ability to smell things. The boy could've pooped his pants and it will take me having to get up real close to smell it even though everyone else has fainted. LOL!! So it did come in handy for a while.
4. It drives me nuts when people ask me to help them out and I do and then when I ask them back they find all kinds of excuses.
5. I have certain snacks that I am addicted to, so when I get them I hide them all over the house in places that the Man and kids never go to. If he put things away then he would find them but we know that will never happen. If it wasn't gross I bet I could put things in the hamper. LOL!
6. I have a problem with cups/glasses being used once and then that person getting another cup/glass when all is needed is just rinsing the first cup/glass.
7. I only shave the lower half of my legs. I have never in all my life shaved above the knee and still see no reason why I should. The hair is so light that it can barely be seen. And winter time is a twice a month shaving of legs in my opinion I need the extra warmth. LOL!!
There that should take care of this blog for a couple more days. LOL!! I am going to have to post about the new additions to the family.

HerIt's that time of the year
Yes it is I back from the land of who knows. I had lots to blog about but just no time to do it when I wanted to. So I will start with just saying "HI" everyone. Kids are on their first break from school, 3 whole weeks. Miss M has 4 days of special classes for high performing kids and then she starts her break on Fri. She got A's and one B+ on her report card. For her 4th grade class trip they are going to the Grand Can yon over night!! Dad is going as an extra chaperone. They are going on her birthday in Feb. She is a student mediator and has joined the school choir and computer club, on top of Girl Scou ts. As long as her grades are still good she can do them all.
Mr Lightning (Think the movie "Cars") got all exceeding grades on his report and his speech teacher even held off her child birth just so she could attend his teacher conference. (Okay she didn't but she did have the baby the morning after the conference LOL) His sister gave him a bike she won at the school raffle. Only thing is that he can't ride it since we can't put training wheels on it, so we have to get him another one at Christmas anyway. He has quite a few new friends and is very helpful with his classmates. His teacher is really nice and very understanding when he does have a meltdown over noise or not wanting to complete something because he is just 'done' with it.
Hubby has been living here but we don't see him much except for socks on the livingroom floor and this low rumble of snoring during the day coming from the bedroom. He has been on the swing shift and jsut found out that he will be going to mid shift next month for a little bit to cover for a co-worker going on vacation. UGH!! His birthday is on Weds the 26th so we celebrated on Sun even though he choosed to stay at home and watch the "Bear s" game instead of the dinner out that I had planned. He got a portable GPS as a gift from family since he is going hunting in Nov in Illinois. The kids and I was going to go up and meet him but the plane tickets are too high right now so maybe we can make it for Christmas this year.
I had another birthday earlier this month, the big "45" yikes!! I am still in the process of getting school paperwork done. My transcripts has to be assessed and it is taking them forever, so the VA will not let me register until they can get a formal plan which can't be done until the transcripts is done. ARGH!!! They also want me to do research on whether to go to the community college and transfered to Arizona South which has a campus in the same location (which is close to me) or go to the University (which is downtown and will cost me in gas and parking and time). This is really getting to be a pain. Oh well.
Well tonight with the kids finally in bed I noticed that the new TV season has started. I caught the beginning of "D ancing with Stars" because Miss M likes that show and thinks I should go on there. Apparrently she never noticed that I can't dance and would benefit from the lessons or she really thinks I am good. LOL!! I taped '2 and a half men' for Hubby. I watched the new show 'Journeyman' and really like it. Kinda reminds me of the show 'Quantum Leap' but not with the jokingness.
I caught about the first 30 mins of "bachelor" and he is cute. Now one observation I have is this, Why do african-american women apply to this show? Now I am not throwing in racism, far from it, but I don't think any of the bachelors are ever going to pick outside their race. Just from experience and knowing it not going to happen. I didn't see who he sent home tonight so I don't know what happened this time around.
I see that I am going to be sampling a lot of new shows this week. It also looks like I am going to need a second DVR. It gets on my nerves when they pile all the good shows on one night. The ratigns on these shows would be better if they would spread them out and stop trying to compete with each other.
Oh another new show called 'House Virgins' started on Sun on HGTV is pretty good.
When I start school I am going to miss seeing my shows.
Well, I just got a Vicky Secret gift card and I am going to go spend it on-line. WooHoo!!
Sending (((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) out to my brave Gabe!!!!

That time of the year again folks!!
Yes people, it is time for Big Brother!!!
Already I am hating most the people on it.
The two people I want gone right now is Joe the gay guy. He has grated on my nerves from the moment he opened his mouth
Jen has to go also. They put their pictures up on the wall in the house and she started bawling because she felt it was the worst picture ever. There are worst things that can happen to you in this world then a bad picture.
I don't have time to write up a full post on the show yet.
Saturday was our 7th wedding anniversary!! 7/7/07 gotta love that.
We got a sitter and I dressed up to the nines in a dress Hubby bought me just before we went to Chicago. Dinner was at a Japanese resturant and we sat at the grill and had a great time. We'll be taking the kids one day. I got 2 watches, a dress one and casual one, and a jump drive for when I go to school. I gave him a new wedding band. When we first got here his ring fell into a toilet at that nasty apartment we stayed in. It was a little tight so we will get it in another size on Sunday. Next stop was Stone Cold Creamery for ice cream. We were so full so we ended up taking them home for the kids. Got home to let the poor guy get back into his shorts and T-shirt, and then went over to the neighbors for their BBQ. OMG!!! I never seen such bad, unruly kids in my life. They had invited some casual friends that had kids and they were running all over the place destroying it while the parents just sat there. The neighbor finally had to yell at the kids to stop and she went into her daughters room to calm down. My kids were afraid to go near those kids. Boy got a toy and sat in a corner and occupied himself even though one of the kids tried to bug him and take the toy, he just said 'no'. Another child kept trying to poke the dog with a stick which I took away and she gave me a look that should've killed me. The Man finally said 'let's go'. Thank goodness.
Sunday breakfast out, we got the ring exchanged and then spent part of the day driving around looking for the W ii game console. That was suppose to have been our present to us but there is none to be found. Now the Man is obssess with trying to find one. He at first wanted the X box but reading up on it it seems that people are having problems with them. Plus I would rather have a game where we all have to get up and move and there are games that I am familiar with and the kids. I guess we will just have to treat ourselves for our birthdays in Sept.
I am thinking of taking classes again if the only the V A get onthe ball and approve me before August.
Next week the kids go back to school. Today the Boy got to meet his teacher again alone and then on Fri we have open house.

Each person posts the rules before their list, then they list 8 things about themselves. At the end of the post, that person tags and links to 8 other people; then visits those people’s sites and comments, letting them know that they have been tagged, and to come read the post, so they know what they have to do.
1. I hate meme's. I am always days late with doing them.
2. I too have big boobs 34D almost DD. I can't find bras that don't cost an arm and a leg that fit all my boob or have too much room. I was 34B before kids, and even though people told me that I would lose my girls and then some, it has yet to happen. Good thing I am not having any more kids or I will be walking around with torpedos.
3. I have to sleep on my right side hopefully facing the door. I like to see when my attacker is coming in the room.
4. I am going to go back to school and get my degree finally. Hopefully I will get to finish this time before we move again.
5. I have a million pics on my computer but have yet to organize them completely. I start but then I get distracted by a pic and end up playing with it on Paintshop but never really doing anything. And lets not even talk about the 3 scrapbooks I have but only one has 2 pages done in it.
6. I secretly hide my favorite snacks from Hubby because I know he will eat them during the nights he stays up late. I also hate doing it but I can't stand to share them.
7. A lot of my dreams that I remember involves Hubby and I being either Super Heros or working as Spys for the US. I even had the kids in some of them as helpers. I think I watch way too many movies.
8. When I was single I barely ever went out so movies were my company. So I guess that is why I am addicted to movies and some TV. Thank goodness Hubby likes movies too. When we giggle to movies at the same time it just makes my heart jump because we are so comfortable with each and our feelings for each other is evident.
Ok as you guessed it I tag Laura, Leanna, Danyelle, and Pam.
